It was a bright and cloudless Tuesday[1] on the ninth of May, and no form of trouble was anywhere near his scope of reality. Daniel Taylor’s scope of reality, that is.
Daniel Taylor is a fourteen[2] year old boy that lives a non eventful life.
Except for on the ninth of May[3].
It was a perfect day. Nothing could go wrong. In fact, nothing much could happen.
Or so he thought.
Daniel Taylor could not imagine that almost everything in his little bleak world would be shattered. He will soon partake in a pursuit to stop injustice, but in these acts, he must to choose between love, law, and life.
Then big problems will become bigger, and the stakes are incomprehensible, as thousands of lives directly and indirectly relate to the choices made by him.
There is more to everything than meets the eye, as illegal acts may very possibly, and literally, blow up into something national[4].
[1] I was trying to play on the ‘it was a dark and stormy night’ trope. Why Tuesday? No clue.
[2] Care to guess how old I was when I started writing this?
[3] And care to guess my birthday?
[4] I see now that I wasn’t really writing a prologue, but more like the blurb on the back of the book or the front sleeve. Very cool.
